On-going Activities and Forthcoming Events

BETTA has many exciting events planned for the near future.  We are planning trips to Offenburg and Fontenay-aux-Roses so people can experience our twin towns first hand.  We are giving schools the opportunity to link with others from our twin towns, ensuring they have the advantages of communicating with native speakers of other languages and the chance to run exchange trips.  We are also developing links with other groups in our twin towns and hope to be able to run exchange trips for community groups.

We hold regular language learning sessions where adults are able to improve their French and German through informal meetings by speaking to natives of France and Germany.  We meet in the ibis Hotel in Borehamwood on the last Tuesday (French) and Thursday (German) of every month.  There is no fee for these sessions (drinks not included) and they are open to all adults whatever their language ability.
